HOW TO DRESS FOR SUCCESS AS A CURVY GIRL

Dressing for success is simply putting together the right outfit to get that dream job, get that contract, get a new job, get a promotion, get new opportunities in your career and attract the right clients for your business.

How to dress for success as a curvy girl is by packaging your curves and wearing the right outfits to make you successful in every endeavor you embark on.
You can dress for success as a curvy girl by doing the following:

1. Work with what you have. As far as you have decided to be a big, confident woman that appreciates and embraces her body and curves, you have to work with those curves. Package yourself well. Wear the right underwear that fits well. Get your exact size of bra and shape wear or girdle to give your clothes a better fitting.

2. There are particular clothes that look better on bigger ladies and fit well. Try and avoid clothes that cling tight to your body. It is unprofessional and not appropriate for professional gatherings and work places. A-line skirts, A-line gowns, high-waist trousers and high-waist skirts would fit better. Buy corporate shirts that fit well and are your exact size so you don't have a case of your buttons popping open at your bust area during business meetings or interviews.

3. Wide trousers are better for corporate settings instead of tight trousers or leggings. Jeans trousers are a No No.

4. When choosing corporate dresses, choose dresses that are below knee length. They should also be simple and professional. You don't need your short and clingy party dresses if you want to get that dream job or impress your clients enough to take you seriously and patronize you.

5. Suits, jackets and blazers are a must if you want to succeed in the corporate world or in your business. Pant suits, jackets, blazers and skirts suits come in different colors but some particular professions are conservative about the colors they allow. If you are the conservative type, you can go with black, brown and gray.

6. Heels are a must. You can't be attending meetings, prospecting for clients or going for interviews wearing flat shoes, sandals or even slippers. Heels give you confidence and class. It makes you look confident and sophisticated. You don't have to wear them all day. You can always have a pair of slippers or flats to change into when you get back to your office or when you are done with your clients.

7. You don't need to doll up and look like a clown if you want to get that big contract or seal that business deal. Less is more. Keep your makeup simple and professional. Let people see you and get to know you as a person before they see your makeup.

8. Jewellery and accessories should be reduced to the barest minimum. Simple pin earrings or studs, a simple bracelet or just a wrist watch would do. You don't need to wear your large party earrings, statement necklace, cocktail rings or costume bracelets.

9. Keep your hairstyles simple but neat and put together. You don't need to wear the big "Afros" or brightly-colored wigs when going to see a client or going for a job interview. No one would take you seriously. The bottom line is don't put on anything that would be loud enough to cover up your personality and prevent people from really getting to know you.

10. Most of all, wear your confidence. Wear your curves with confidence. Be bold, friendly, current, professional, and smart.

If you follow these steps to dress for success, you would definitely be successful in every career you venture into.
